Nowadays, there is a concern that AI might take over certain jobs, and some worry that technologies like automation could replace them in the workplace. These possibilities are real, and it's prudent to be open to them to begin expanding your skill set. However, one aspect that seems less discussed is the risk of being replaced by another person.

Life presents us with numerous challenges, one of which is being replaced at work by someone else due to illness. Although there are laws designed to protect individuals from losing their jobs when they become ill, companies are aware of loopholes that they exploit to replace employees who are unable to perform their duties.

For instance, if an employee falls ill with cancer and requires extensive treatment, they may be unable to work due to the side effects and must remain at home. The company incurs a loss because they have to pay an employee who is unable to fulfill their job duties. This situation either results in the employee's tasks being delayed, disrupting company productivity and upsetting clients, or the company must hire a temporary worker to cover the role, leading to paying two salaries for a single position.

The sad reality is, that there are companies who do fire employees due to them being ill but there are companies who are compassionate and wait for the employee to return to work, while the employee either recover at home or hospital paid or unpaid.

The matter of the fact is, you are replaceable.

How do you stay positive when you are facing a situation like this in life? You would need to have build your foundation of Jesus Christ because then nothing will shake you but if you haven't, start kneeling and asking Him for help. No person will help you, no meditation and no religion or god other than Jesus Christ, Himself.
